Even though this is a picture book, I found it to be a unique, intriguing story. And not only that, but it's a Christmas story as well, which can make any story fabulous. I recommend this book for all ages, and am sure it will become a Christmas favorite for everyone.
The story begins with Bradley Bartelby, who is cruel, merciless, and a menace to society. Even as a child, he was very, very bad. His parents, who are extremely wealthy, are so afraid of him they give him everything he wants. Everyone gives him everything he wants, in fact, except Santa Claus. Santa, despairing of Bradley's behavior, only gives him one present each year. Socks. Bradley is infuriated, and formulates a dastardly plot to get exactly what he wants, from whom he wants it from, for Christmas.
