Danny the Champion of the World by Roald Dahl is an amazing book. It's where Danny and his dad own a filling station where they wash and fix cars. They are very poor. One night Danny's dad goes out to poach Mr. Hazell's pheasants. Danny gets scared. He waits till morning. In the morning Danny's dad tells Danny what he was doing.
