Mr. Popper's Penguins by Richard and Florence Atwater is amazing! Mr. Popper is a housepainter. But now it's autumn and Mr. Popper gets to stay home. While he's reading a book about Antarctic penguins he turns the radio to listen to the weather and a voice says, "Mr. Popper". "Is that you, the famous Admiril Drake?" Mr. Popper asked. Stickman Odyssey Series by Annie age 10

The Stickman Odyssey is a hilarious series of graphic novels. The first one is about how misfit, unlucky, Prince Zozimos raised by his uncle Nestor, is trying to find his homeland Sticatha to reclaim the thrown and take revenge on the "Evil Witch Queen" who killed his father and turned his sisters into crows ( Nestor made the crow part up.) On his way he finds lifelong companions: Praxis and Atrukos. Zozimos also meets Alexa
who turns out to be Zozimos's half-sister and Asteria, a victim of a mysterious prophecy.
     The second book is about how Zozimos finds Sticatha.The Queen turns out to be a nice person and she says if Zozimos and his crew the Stickonauts finds the magic feather and brings it to her, Zozimos will become king. Then after the successful quest, Nestor arrives with a army of centaurs and shoots the queen. What will Zozimos, now king do? Read to find out. This series is humorous and exciting. You should really read them!
