Allies and Assassins is an amazingly good book. Prince Jared of All Archenfield is depressed by his brother, Prince Anders's, death. His cousin, Axel Blaxland, is the Captain of the Guard. The Council of the Twelve, Logan Wilde (the Poet), Emelie Sharp (the Beekeeper), Father Simeon (the Priest), Nova Chastain (the Falconer), Kai Jagger (the Huntsman), Elias Peck (the Physician), Vera Webb (the Cook), Hal Harness (the Prince's Guard), Morgan Booth (the Dungeon keeper), Axel Blaxland (the Captain of the Guard), and others will be able to help him.
