The Boxcar Children #6: Blue Bay Mystery by Gertrude Chandler Warner (reviewed by Bud, age 7)

The Boxcar Children #6: Blue Bay Mystery by Gertrude Chandler Warner is an amazing book. Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny are going to an unknown island in the Pacific Ocean with their grandfather, a sailor named Lars, and Benny's friend named Mike. They go on a boat called Sea Star. When they get there someone is there too. The person steals the sea biscuit, loses a button, moves a turtle shell, and makes something cool out of shells and rocks in a pond. Do you think they will find the mysterious person?

Secrets of the Crown by reviewed by Dallas (10)

The Familiars #2: Secrets of the CrownA++!!!!!

It was a really good book. The story was about 3 magical animals who looked for the "Snow Leopard's Crown. "    They faced many challenges, including humungous gunnabeasts, vicious bounty hunters, and monstrous shadow hounds.  In the end, they found the crown and are therefore now able to defeat a treacherous Familiar and hare, Parkshia.   What I really enjoyed was the action and adventure of the story.

I look forward to reading the third book in the series.
