The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids: Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots by Debbie Dadey (reviewed by Bud, age 7)

The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids: Vampires Don't Wear Polka Dots by Debbie Dadey is a very good book. It's about four kids named Liza, Melody, Howie, and Eddie. Liza loved school. Melody was a lot like Liza, but she wasn't as bossy. Howie liked school, too, but was smarter. Eddie loathed school in every way. He was the school bully. Liza, Melody, Howie, and Eddie had just gotten out out of second grade. Their old teacher Mrs. DeDe had quit all because of Eddie. On the last day of second grade Eddie had put shaving cream in Mrs. DeDe's desk's top drawer when she was getting a pen. The kids were talking and there were pieces of paper scattered al over the room. The doorknob turned and the class quieted down. When the door opened they saw that it was the principal with a very pale woman. The woman was wearing a pink polka dotted dress complete with a bright green brooch. She had painted her fingernails a bright green. She had green eyes and red hair. "Hello class, my name is Mrs. Jeepers," Mrs. Jeepers said. What do you think will happen next? You get to find out.
